Fees Free Study

If you’re studying at a tertiary level for the first time, you might be eligible for one year of fees-free education. To access this, you must:

  • Be a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or Australian resident living in New Zealand for at least three years.

  • Not be enrolled in school when your course starts.

  • Not have done more than 60 credits of tertiary study beforehand (except for school-related study).
